A Look Back: Smiles and Skills at ACRATS NL Aircraft Metallic Repair Training

At ACRATS NL, every training day is about more than just technical knowledge — it’s about bringing together people, skills, and cultures in the unique world of aircraft structure repair. Recently, one of our students traveled from England to join the Royal Netherlands Air Force team for an Aircraft Metallic Repair training course at our facility in the Netherlands.

From the very first session, the workshop atmosphere was full of energy, collaboration, and — most importantly — smiles. While learning and practicing aircraft metallic repair techniques, the student worked side by side with Dutch Air Force personnel, exchanging experience and strengthening international bonds in aviation maintenance.

The Aircraft Metallic Repair course at ACRATS NL is designed to provide hands-on training in essential structural repair methods. Participants gain practical skills in sheet metal work, fastener installation, material handling, and certified repair procedures used in both military and civil aviation. By working directly with real aircraft materials, trainees build confidence and competence that directly translates into operational readiness.

This day of training highlighted not only the importance of precision in aircraft structural repair, but also the positive and supportive learning environment that ACRATS is proud to create. Our instructors ensure that every session is both technically challenging and enjoyable, keeping motivation high while maintaining the highest standards in safety and repair techniques.

As we look back on this day, we’re reminded why our mission at ACRATS goes beyond training — it’s about building expertise, fostering teamwork, and inspiring the next generation of aviation repair specialists. Whether you’re a military organization, an airline, or an individual technician, our goal is to prepare you with the skills needed to keep aircraft safe, efficient, and airworthy.
