EWIS Initial Target Groups 1, 2 & 3
The aviation industry is continuously improving when it comes to safety. As bad as it is, lessons are learned with every incident or accident, big or small. The cause of it is analyzed and procedures are drawn up or changed based on this: we learn from every situation, big or small, to make flying even safer. Our course focuses on Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), a crucial part of keeping airplanes safe. Join us on a journey where safety isn't just a rule - it's a shared commitment and passion. By joining our EWIS training, you're not just meeting requirements; you're gaining valuable knowledge to boost your career in aviation. Expect to learn practical safety skills that will set you apart in the industry.
This initial training is custom-made to meet the requirements given by the aviation authorities for target groups 1, 2 & 3.
Target Group 1: Qualified
staff performing EWIS maintenance;

staff performing maintenance inspections on EWIS;
Target Group 3: Other
service staff with duties in the proximity of electrical wiring interconnection
systems.
Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this module, participant is able to:

tools including specialized and automated tools and equipment;
·
Verify the calibration of electrical
measuring instruments, tools and equipment so that correct maintenance
procedures may be carried out;
·
Demonstrate the process and procedures
to successfully use the troubleshooting procedures and charts of current
aeroplane faults and know re-occurring problems causing “no fault found” on
removed LRU;
·
Demonstrate the correct use of
electrical meters for measuring voltage, current, resistance, continuity,
insulation and short to ground;
·
Explain the
removal and replacement techniques so that no damage will occur to the LRU or
aeroplane connector.
