EWIS Continuation Target Groups 4, 5 & 6

This continuation training is custom-made to meet the requirements given by the aviation authorities for target groups 4, 5 & 6.
Target Group 4: Qualified
staff performing general maintenance/inspections not involving wire
maintenance;
Target Group 5: Qualified staff performing other engineering or planning
work on in-service airplanes;
Target Group 6: Other service staff with duties in the proximity of
electrical wiring interconnection systems.
Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this module, participant is able to:

Explain the
safety procedures of normal and non-normal maintenance procedures so that you
can protect yourself and the aeroplane.;
·
Recognize ESDS equipment and
demonstrate standard anti-static procedures so that no damage occurs to that
equipment;
·
Explain the
removal and replacement techniques so that no damage will occur to the LRU or
aeroplane connector.
